The Top Celebrity Homes of Cleveland

Cleveland is home to some of the most famous American celebrities from Academy Award winner Halle Berry to TV reality star Khloe Kardashian. Most of the celebrities from Cleveland chose to move out to Los Angeles, but there are some continue to live there, mostly for work or deep family ties.

The Top Celebrity Homes in Cleveland

Here are four celebrities that have the most beautiful and extravagant homes in Cleveland, Ohio, making every real estate agent wonder, “how can they break into luxury“:

1. Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson

Tristan Thompson plays for Cleveland Cavaliers, so he spends most of his time in the city. His baby mama, Khloe Kardashian, moved there before giving birth to their daughter, True, last year. She feels calmer and less judged there. It is a beautiful house that sits on the banks of Lake Erie and is spread over 6,000 square feet. Thompson bought it for $1.9 million in 2015.

It has five bedrooms and seven bedrooms and even though, it isn’t as beautiful as Khloe’s Calabasas house, we love it. The house has an airy formal living room with large windows and a special family room overlooking the waters. The lake freezes in winters, so you can only imagine how gorgeous it would look then. It has a huge kitchen, which is a win-win for the Kardashian sister who loves to cook.

Most of his friends stay nearby so that they would meet for dinners cooked by Khloe. All floors are made of concrete, which gives the house a modern, industrial appeal. There’s a lot of space there and even has a playroom. Since Khloe wants a big family, this house is just the perfect space for them to grow. We can’t wait for True to have more siblings.

2. LeBron James

LeBron James is the greatest player in the history of the NBA. Whenever he gets time, the player spends at his sprawling property in Akron, his hometown which is only an hour away from Cleveland. The 34-years old megastar bought the property for $2.1 million back in 2003, when he was only 18-years old. He uprooted the former home and built a 30,000 square feet villa that has six bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.

The mansion has a sports bar, recording studio, a two-lane bowling alley, barber shop, theater, and a casino. The master bedroom is the best part of the whole house. It has a two-story walk-in closet. Can it get any better than this? Well, it does because satellite images tell that the property has a full-size basketball field.

How typical of James, isn’t it? He added a neighboring 2,989 square feet property to his pre-existing one in 2006. The NBA star uses it as a guest house, which has five bedrooms and 2 ½ baths. A long driveway connects it with the main house. A few years later in 2012, James bought a three bedroom house for his mother around a ¼ mile away from his envious property. It cost him a modest $220,000.

3. Michael Symon’s Home in Cleveland, Ohio

If you love cooking, or just eating some great food, what better house for you than going into one previously owned by one of the best chefs in the world? Yes, if you had kept your eyes on the real estate market, you could have bagged Symon’s five bedrooms, 3.5 bathroom Tudor style home that had everything from a weather controlled wine room to a living room that sports a wood-burning fireplace. The home also features some Carrera marble counters and custom cabinetry with everything from refrigerator drawers to pull-outs.

4. Mark Nolan’s Farmhouse

Situated in quaint Burton, just a few minutes from Cleveland, the farmhouse is over a century old and features everything from a stand-alone party house to a barn garage.

The 4-acre property owned by Channel 3’s Nolan, has everything from a man-room, which has comfortable worn leather furniture you will love to sit in, to the yesteryear knotty pine paneling. Nolan feels it’s just the perfect place to rest after a hard day at work, and we couldn’t agree more! Plus, there is the barn that Nolan loves too, just the right place for his hobbies.
